Edward Snowden Reveals His Motivication for Disclosing NSA's Domestic Intelligence Gathering Efforts

<< SCROLL DOWN FOR NEWS >>

Recently it has come to light that Uncle Sam is creating an audit trail of all communications in and outside of the United States.

Surprisingly, everyone acts as though this is the first time that Uncle has monitored the population's electronic communications en masse. The fact is, back in the 1990s, we learned of a SIGINT (Signal Intelligence) program called Echelon that essentially did the same thing, only using another nation's intelligence officers to do the spying.

US CIA leaker Edward Snowden, an infrastructure analyst for CIA (Central Intelligence Agency), offers some thoughts as to why a young man with so much to lose still chooses to disclose what NSA (National Security Agency) is doing by way of massive monitoring of domestic communications.

Snowden says that his worst fear is that even after disclosure, the American public will do nothing to change things--that everything will continue on as if he hadn't made this huge sacrifice. Honestly, his career is over, perhaps his very life. And yet most of us in this nation have no idea as to what the implications is of the information that Snowden has given us. Worst yet, most of us don't even know this young man's name and most of us don't even care about what he has told us.

In time, more Snowden's are going to surface, especially as NSA becomes even more power hungry and intrusive in their intelligence gathering practices.

If you are one of those people who could give a rat's rear as to what Snowden has chosen to share with the world, despite the life-changing nature of the information he's leaked, then you need to look in the mirror. You need to give some serious thought to who you are, what you are, and what you have become.

Inducing Food Shortages Across the World?

Want to know what's coming next?

In May of 2020, a Texas rancher by the name of Shad Sullivan posted a smartphone video claiming that he and others were being paid to destroy tons and tons of vegetables and cattle. When I first saw this video, it caused me great concern because it was about the time that officials declared that they had to shut down meat processing/packing plants because of COVID-19 contamination.

According to a BBC news report, released on April 29, 2020, “An estimated 3,300 US meatpacking workers have been diagnosed with coronavirus and 20 have died. Twenty-two US meatpacking plants across the American Midwest have closed during the outbreak” (https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-52466502).

Here, listen/watch Shad Sullivan's video and we'll continue trudging on when it's finished:

What all of this thus far says to me is that Trump saved the day because he happened to be the President at the time this planned pandemic commenced. In fact, throughout it, he minimized the power of the Federal Gov't because legislation had been enacted in the late 1990's through the early 2000's that provided the necessary emergency powers to State Officials. But now, Trump's no longer in the WH, but China Joe is.

So, now that the door is no longer barred to the Federal Gov't to facilitate necessary efforts to cause undo harm to the American people, what do you suppose will happen?

There are several videos that I've run across that should provide you with the answer to that and I'll disperse them throughout the remainder of this paper.

The one thing I do know, is that one of the most important facts to understand regarding what's happening to us in this nation, and perhaps others for that matter, pertains to something called Psyops. What exactly is Psyops?

“Psychological operations are operations to convey selected information and indicators to audiences to influence their emotions, motives, and objective reasoning, and ultimately the behavior of governments, organizations, groups, and individuals” (Wikipedia).

But this is only one of several areas where a foreign power or domestic enemy might focus on. Many times they focus on the destruction of another nation's financial system, it's educational system, it's communications, and agriculture. After all, with regards to the last one, hungry people become weakened and weak people are rarely capable of launching an adequate defense in a war of any kind.

And this is exactly what we're seeing in this nation—the introduction of an mRNA medical device that was not successful in animal trials (100% failure rate), which they intend to give to every man, woman and child, but they're going to force every soldier, seaman, airman, spaceman, etc. to take them as well. You know well my own effort to make people aware of the dangers through this WebLog.

But here's the one that concerns me the utmost, and that is the interference with our food supply lines. I've already provided a video (above) where Shad Sullivan, a Texas rancher, sounded a warning back a year ago. Here's another one that you need to watch and heed:

Next, allow me to offer you a download—a PDF document which I pulled out of a larger work. The authors of this document sought to provide four different scenarios, all of which aim at the centralization of finances, government, communications, medical, etc. across the world by a single ruling Elite—the Masters of Society. This document, called Lock Step, describes the COVID pandemic effort with all the trappings... so download and read it here: click here.

One more link: Shadow Gate (2020) which goes into a massive psyop against America.  Watch it!

If all of this hasn't convinced you that we're under attack, then go back to sleep and I'm sorry I bothered you. --Al Colombo

Revealing the Hidden Things or Coming Out of the Closet

Even Plato knew the difference between
the "gods" and the "God" of all.

image of a penny with 'In God We Trust'For a very long time I've played the game of life, working hard and doing all I could to be of help to those whom I love as well as to my friends, family, and even my fellow man in general.

I've been known to talk about UFOs (Unidentified Flying Objects), alien abductions, the difference between that and a Contactee, and much more. Why am I willing to speak of this now? Because I'm officially retired, and although I continue to write for publications as well as perform services of various kinds for others--mostly in the electronic security and life safety markets, I'm no longer afraid to share these things with others.

Most of the time those whom I've discussed these matters with have written if off to insanity, and yet many of them have taken the time to read my technical work in the security field as well as political. My life long friends,  however, know what it's all about and they understand that insanity alone does not explain all the things I have spoken of.

Today, I'd like to share with you what I have learned about Aum, also known as OM. The fact is, OM is a powerful force that permeates all of creation. I personally have called on OM many times, especially when I was building Alarm & Communications Company, my first alarm company in the 70s and 80s.

I honestly have been aware of OM all of my life, but in 1971, after a near brush with death (a NDE I might add), I was shown and trained as to where to look and how to to call upon its  power. In my next blog post I will share with you where to find OM and  how to "call" upon it's power.

In the meantime, please sit  for a spell and watch the following documentary on the gods. We'll talk about this movie somewhere ahead on this blog. --Al Colombo

The Cold, Hard Facts Behind 'Surveillance Capitalism'

Be careful, your dumbphone is telling on you every day in every way.
image of a penny with 'In God We Trust' Crime prevention starts with YOU! The issue of Facebook compromising user privacy goes WAY BEYOND what we have heard. Here's a story I dug up for one of my client's social media outreach work that spells it out. You NEED TO READ this.
How Surveillance Capitalism Can Impact Public Safety and CII Users | #ESC_LLC #Privacy #Surveillance #PublicSafety | Mission-critical communications users must be aware that personal devices and applications are subject to data surveillance. To read this informative article about Digital DNA and how service providers can put your data at risk, go to: http://ow.ly/spUS30k4fxs and turn to page 20. Or you can download a PDF printout of the story by clicking here.
What impresses me about the story is the extent to which telcom companies have gone to secure their right to infringe on the privacy rights of everyone on the planet who dumbly buys and uses a smart phone. According to the author of this story, not only are there apps loaded into our cell phones that CANNOT be uninstalled (Amazon is one of them), but there are terms of agreement buried in these phones that most of us have never seen, let alone know exist. (see sidebar on right, click to enlarge.)

There's not much that can be done by or for anyone outside of the Mission Critical community, but the U.S. Government should, they MUST take steps to better secure data encountered and transmitted by those in mission critical roles, such as defense contractors, civilian employees, and those in the military. The rest of us have a decision to make, whether to give up all those free apps and the cell phone in general or to go on as we are, allowing others to exploit our data.

DIVORCE: Mistaken Signals, an Aging Disposition

Divorce is dumb and it's tragic
image of a penny with 'In God We Trust' This blog post is about the unfortunate situation in this nation involving divorce. I have to say up front that I have seen far too many great marriages end in divorce because of what I'd call "mistaken signals." I almost had a divorce myself because of my own suspicious mind.
Marriage and divorce are both common experiences. In Western cultures, more than 90 percent of people marry by age 50. Healthy marriages are good for couples’ mental and physical health. They are also good for children; growing up in a happy home protects children from mental, physical, educational and social problems. However, about 40 to 50 percent of married couples in the United States divorce. The divorce rate for subsequent marriages is even higher. (click here)
Adapted from the Encyclopedia of Psychology
Here's a hypothetical situation that is so close to my own that I actually hate to bring it up, but if it's true for me and for others I have observed, then it's got to be the case for many. If I can help just one married couple avoid a needless divorce, then it's worth the effort.
  1. A man loses confidence in his own manliness, which is something that happens to the best of men as they age....
  2. He begins to watch for signs of changes in his wife which could signal her having contact with another man.
  3. The woman, even though she is faithful to her man, could lose faith in him as he slips into the bowels of suspicion. She's aware of his problem and at first it's cute, but after a time it becomes annoying because she feels that she has to justify everything she does.
  4. The man magnifies any change at all into a full blow issue, ramping up his observation of his wife in her daily activities. Perhaps she's late getting home a few nights from work, perhaps she has a few new phone numbers on the cell phone, or maybe new contacts she's texting to.
  5. He begins to monitor her email, watches her facebook, watches her activities on Google+. He leaves work a few minutes early to see if she's where she's suppose to be--alone, all the while verbally accusing her of infidelity and demanding to know who she's talking to.
  6. Now she is growing tired and frustrated with the accusations of things that she's not doing, so she begins to circle the wagon by changing her email password, defriending her husband on facebook, buying herself a throwaway cell phone for personal communications. Now he's made it a point to identify anyone and everyone she talks to. He installs a special app on her cell phone that enables him to monitor her conversations.
  7. His wife's efforts to keep her hubby isolated from her personal life (to keep him from contacting friends) is an even bigger sign to hubby that he's right, that his wife is cheating on him at every turn. He begins to follow her to and from work to see where she goes. He sits across the
street from were she works to make sure she's where she's suppose to be. He installs a GPS tracker on the vehicle so he can follow her every move. He knows where she goes, how long she's there, and when she comes and goes. He's on to her, so he thinks...
  8. She grows tired of the difficulties, tired because her spouse is not supporting her efforts (like she's working two jobs), and she falters, throwing herself into another man's arms all the time looking for the man she married--a man who went AWOL some time ago.

Conclusion:

Now, there is no denying that the wife finally did do the very thing that her hubby was accusing her of, and if he actually catches her at it, he may feel vindicated of the allegation that some have assigned to his paranoia that "he's simply lost his mind."
In reality, if it hadn't been for his lack of self esteem and security as well as all the accusations, name calling, and aggressive behavior toward her friends--with whom noting was amiss--perhaps his wife wouldn't have faltered and failed in the end.

I ask you, who's fault is it if this married were to end in divorce?

Hers or his?

Should the hubby go in for a psych eval to determine whether he was having a senior-related moment?

How could this marriage be saved in the end analysis?

Big Data Might Tell on You!

<<---------- Scroll down for news. ---------->>

Air/wireless television and radio are losing ground and in their place are a host of services that come with strings attached. If you pay a subscription fee, like Hulu on cable or HBO on satellite, then there are strings attached to your viewing preferences that ultimately lead to someone or something.

Of course, agents of Uncle Sam have better things to do than to sit around and monitor what you watch. But in this world of Big Data--where government and corporations seek to intercept, gather, collect, save, and analyze any and every type of available data, whether it resides on metallic, fiber, or radio waves--it's all there long after you turned that set off and gone to bed.

The other day, Linda, my wife, asked me to look into an air/wireless antenna for local channels as we've gone exclusively to Internet-based programming. Despite the fact that I, personally, was trained by Channel Master, not to mention two electronic trade schools and a techie father, I had to give some serious thought as to 1) where I might find such an animal these days, and 2) how/where we'd attach such an antenna to our house as we live on a lake in an association that may very well forbid outside antennas.

Is it all that important that no one know the television and radio stations you tune into? At first glance it would appear the answer is "No, not really." But in a nation such as this that is increasingly losing it's footing on Christian values and traditional American culture, no one can say for certain who or what the political climate will one day be. If all the authorities have to do to ascertain if you're a Christian is go back and review your viewing/listening preferences on cable/satellite television/radio.... well, I'm sure you see where I'm going with this.

So, what's the answer to the progressively hostile, police-state mentality we now see unfolding before us? Isn't that the underlying reason why we would even worry about our viewing/listening data? The problem isn't the data, and it's not even the fact that someone might collect all that data. The problem is what government will do with that data when the wrong people are in power--like the current administration.

Let me give you a little example by way of recent revelations about the NSA spying on Americans. All the while the press is telling the American people that it's the NSA, here we find out that the NSA has an accomplice--the President of the United States.

The Obama administration quietly got a court to undo U.S. surveillance limits on the use of intercepted phone calls and emails, The Washington Post reported.

The 2011 reversal of a 2008 restriction let the National Security Agency search deliberately for Americans’ communications in its massive databases, the Post said, citing newly declassified documents and interviews with government officials. (read it)

So when you turn on pornography, or you turn on a Christian station on an Internet TV/Radio station, remember that someone someday may decide to use it against you, and it will be right there in Big Data indefinitely just waiting for them. Do you have to change that dial? Nope, but you at least deserve to know what the possibilities are. However, for those who might like to change their viewing habits, like how they get their TV/radio programming, you might want to look for an air antenna. Try looking at http://www.antennaweb.org/

Happy watching.

Report Outlines Extent to Which NSA is Spying on Society

<<---------- Scroll down for news. ---------->>

Spying has never been a pretty business. Those who do it for a living eventually accept it as a necessary evil. I suppose we should also--that is if we're really concerned about terrorism on this nation's soil.

With all of that said, however, it's obvious that there must be constraints in place that seek to prevent those who actively monitor society from misusing and abusing this technological power; and might I add that this tremendous power resides with the smallest of the small among those who work in the intelligence business.

Recently a report was released by the National Security Agency (NSA) that outlines its own spying activities.

The U.S. government on Friday for the first time released data on the scope of some of its most sensitive foreign intelligence-gathering efforts, saying that it had targeted nearly 90,000 foreign persons or organizations for surveillance through U.S. companies last year.

The release of the “transparency report,” issued by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, follows an order a year ago from President Obama to declassify and make public as much information as possible about certain sensitive surveillance programs.

Warrantless Wirepapping

One of the issues that sticks out when reading the Washington Post story is that of "warrantless" surveillance on the part of not only NSA but other intelligence-gathering entities across the board.

It was in 1952 when NSA was established. As part of the military establishment, NSA's mission then, as it still is today, is to affect surveillance against foreign targets to assure the integrity, security, and safety of these United States of America.

Limitations on how this is accomplished have been imposed on NSA over the years since its inception. This includes:

  • The Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act, passed in 1968 by the Congress.
  • Executive Order 12036, effected by President Carter in 1978 that acts to prevent "electronic surveillance directed against a United States person abroad or designed to intercept a communication sent from, or intended for receipt within, the United States except as permitted by the procedures established pursuant to section 2-201".
  • The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), also passed in 1978.
  • In 2001, the passage of the Communications Assistance for Law Enforcement Act (CALEA), which established clear standards for how telecommunications providers are to provide wiretapping information to government (The Implications of the Digital Telephony Act of 1994).
  • Also in 2001, John Yoo, former George W. Bush administration official, essentially gives the president authority to approve anti-terrorism tactics, including warrantless wiretapping.
  • A year later, in 2002, President Bush authorized NSA to conduct warrantless wiretaps on both foreign concerns and U.S. citizens in country through a secret executive order.
  • About a year later President Bush disclosed the existence of his secret wiretapping program to the Congress and later in the year the New York Times publishes a story that informed the public of its existence.
  • Etc...

In Conclusion

One of the reasons why all of this wiretapping is necessary is the openness of this nation. We let any Tom, Dick, or Mary enter through air travel and for the past two decades we're trying to affect "reasonable immigration laws" that essentially seek to negate common sense by allowing, again, every Tom, Dick, and Mary to cross the U.S./Mexican border w/o any meaningful rules and regulations.

Until this nation get serious about buttoning up our border and limiting air travel entry to only those who really need it, I won't believe for one moment that any of this makes sense. How can you seriously tell the general public with a straight face that all that can be done is being done by way of anti-terrorist tactics when you allow the Southern border to remain open?

The bottom line here is this: the Federal Gov't must enforce its own border laws before it can be taken seriously.
