Thinking Without Words

Meditation and the art of DBing
(from my personal journal)

image of a penny with 'In God We Trust' I  have no idea what I'd do without having learned the profoundly valuable art of meditation. Through it I've learned to value silence more than the most soothing music on earth. Through it I've learned the art of "directed blanking," which I formulated back in 1964 at the age of 14. DB is the process of perception without human words within the mind. It's the process of analysis with a higher form of thought without the limitations that human words places on it.
Through it I can cut through the clutter of life to cut to the chase.

The DB process came about because of a collaboration with my brother, RMR. He and I decided we wanted to know more about cosmic consciousness, which the advertisements spoke of in  relation to an out of body (OBE/Out of Body Experience) process that I dubbed "Disembodiment," hense DB.  Well, instead of  learning the OBE thing from that, I learned how to visualize and process reality w/o words. It's immensely valuable, lightning fast, and it renders an outcome far superior to that which is possible by "talking to one's self via human words."

That's not to say I did not eventually learn the art of OBE....
