The True Colors of Facebook & Twitter

More than governments need to be forced to comply
with the first amendment!
image of a penny with 'In God We Trust' In recent months it's become evident to most of us that Facebook and Twitter are infringing on the first amendment rights of conservatives who use their platforms. On Twitter, Giant Killers Org had its account suspended because a list that put a Leftist individual in a bad light. In essance, their feelings were hurt. Isn't it a fortunate thing that no one did this to them over the course of time?
On Facebook, blatant censorship is taking place as well. So called "fact checkers," more like "fake checkers," are busy covering up material and making claims that they can only back up with Leftist-written and published articles and such. The word "disgusting" doesn't cover the feeling that one gets just watching it.

American Liberals are beginning to see the light, and that has the Left very concerned with this most important election on the horizon in November of this year. When our news media many years ago told us what China was going to its own people, we were disgusted and angry over the infraction perpetuated by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Now that it's happening to us, so many of us do not see it in the same light. Amazing!

Currently, it appears that Twitter has stripped @GiantKillersOrg of all it's followers and those we were following. I've asked if that's going to stand, and I'm waiting for an answer to that now.

There's a lot at stake in this upcoming election in November. The bad behavior on the part of Twitter and Facebook should never be forgotten for what they have done is blatant politics, and bad politics for sure. --Al Colombo

Twitter: No Social Network Should Tolerate Cyber Bullying

<<---------- Scroll down for news. ---------->>

I know there are those who believe people should be able to tweet whatever their little evil hearts desire. But, there is a point we can reach where meanness cannot be tolerated in social networking environments. It is the responsibility of Twitter to stop cyber bullying where it comes to their own domain. They failed to do so. Lessons learned, I suppose.

Twitter reviewing policies after Robin Williams' daughter harassed

(CNN) -- Twitter is looking to revamp its user-protection policies after Zelda Williams, the daughter of comedian Robin Williams, was run off of the social site by abuse in the wake of her father's apparent suicide.

"We will not tolerate abuse of this nature on Twitter," Del Harvey, Twitter's vice president of trust and safety, said in a statement. "We have suspended a number of accounts related to this issue for violating our rules and we are in the process of evaluating how we can further improve our policies to better handle tragic situations like this one. http://ow.ly/AlAKt
